Starting my career in 2012, I first started in music videos. After living in Mexico City as a Fulbright scholar, where I directed my first narrative short film ROTO in 2014, I moved to NYC to work on documentaries with The New York Times and VICE on HBO, where I won an Emmy in 2019 for Zero Tolerance, a documentary about the family separation crisis on the U.S/Mexico border. In 2024, I completed a mentorship under director Karyn Kusama as part of the DGA Squad program. My narrative short film Rejectors premiered at Hollyshorts, and Digestif premiered at Austin Film Festival. My screenplay Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner was selected for the 2025 Tribeca Creators Market. My other scripted work has been selected for the Gotham TV Series Lab and placed in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship
Here is a selection of that work.
